Black Widow Has To Save The World Again

Black Widow Has To Save The World Again

Black Widow, a character played by Scarlett Johansson, has been a permanent member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe from the very beginning. There are no doubts that many of their fans asked for a solo film for the extremely popular character, but it took about ten years for the producer Kevin Feige to hear the request. With the reorientation of the film series, Scarlett Johansson finally got her film. When Marvel finally announced these exciting news, it was received with astonishment.

After all, the events of Avengers: Endgame did not exactly suggest a sequel. But as every so often, Marvel surprised its followers and, apparently, Black Widow will remain an integral part of the film series. With a trick, Marvel were able to introduce a new actress. At least, that’s what the cast and the first known content suggest. But there was another Herculean task on top of the comic figure. The theatrical release has already been postponed several times due to global events, although the film should finally premiere in summer 2021.

Black Widow will usher in a whole series of new Marvel films and the so-called phase 4 of the MCU in the cinema. However, the beginning of this phase already took place on television. The series WandaVision and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier ensured the continuation of this endless narrative series. Black Widow will introduce moviegoers to the phase 4 in the cinemas. Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, The Eternals, and Spiderman 4 are already on hold and should ensure a huge Marvel year on the big screen in the future.

Godzilla Has Cleared the Way

The prerequisites for a continuation of worldwide success are excellent. Cinema still attracts a lot of fans and the film Godzilla vs Kong has recently proved that. It currently holds more than $427 million in worldwide box office earnings, which overtook that of Tenet. The spectacle by Christoper Nolan was the most successful of the previous year even though it struggled hard. But now, there doesn’t seem to be much to stand in the way of a significant cinema comeback.

When Black Widow launches in the USA on July 9, 2021, we will see how many moviegoers are willing to storm into theatres again. The long break should make Marvel fans look forward to the triumphant comeback, which Marvel expects after we see the new trailer. There the film company presented excerpts and teasers from numerous films from the next few years. Marvel looked confidently into the distant future and announced countless films for the upcoming years.

Now it is only up to the success of Black Widow to get the Marvel Cinematic Universe going again. At the same time, the competition is looking forward to the blockbuster’s theatrical release. If all goes well, cinema fans can expect numerous highlights in the coming months. That includes, for example, the next James Bond film. No Time To Die is also Daniel Craig’s last appearance in the role. The secret agent will hit the big screens in November. Cinema may be okay again after this point in time.
